Images obtained with the modalities that best depict the abnormality in question are presented, with marking of the salient pathology and explanation of the abnormal imaging features in concise captions. Whenever possible, differential diagnosis is covered using further images and guidance is also provided on selection of additional modalities to confirm the diagnosis.
